Yesterday K was waking up from her nap. I went in to get her when she said "Mommy, I want Walle!". R, her ever attentive big sister, heard and went running up. She lifted her out her crib and then asked what she wanted to play. Together they went off and found R's most prized possession, her new American girl doll. R let her beloved little sister pick an outfit, and they dressed her. When you think of R you can't help to think of laughter. She is always so funny. Children tend to gravitate to her because of her happy and fun nature. But she is so much more than her first impression. This dear daughter has such a kind and helpful heart. She is always so willing to find ways to help her family and friends. She seems to know exactly when a person needs a kind word or compliment. Her heart is even bigger than her laughter. But, oh, that laugh makes me smile. She is our middle, and as her father blessed her when she was a baby, she is our peace maker (thank goodness that she is, because being funny sometimes requires peace afterwards). We call her our family glue. I feel so blessed that she is mine. And, oh, how those blue/green eyes melt me. I couldn't imagine loving her more. I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world.

I wish we had gotten to know her more. You must bring her for a visit. Your girls are equally as blessed to call you mom, as you are to call them yours.
So fun to read about your sweet, precious girls!
